As someone who has seen many pitch nights in my high school career, I have to say that the recent pitch night for my senior project was one of the more successful ones yet.
I was nervous at first, but as I started to speak, my passion took over, and I felt energized by the audience’s engagement. I used storytelling and visuals to illustrate my passion for art and the impact of climate change and its effects on mental health. I also addressed potential concerns and objections, demonstrating how my proposal could be sustainable and effective in the long run.
The feedback I received from the judges and the audience was overwhelmingly positive. They had constructive criticism about my service portion of my project, but in receiving feedback I was able to rectify the portion very easily. Many people approached me after the pitch to express their support and offer their help. I felt proud of what I had accomplished and inspired to continue pursuing solutions to the climate crisis.
Overall, my experience with the pitch night was an unforgettable one. It not only allowed me to share my passion and knowledge about climate anxiety, but it also gave me the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share my concerns. I am excited to continue working on my project and making a positive impact on our planet and its people.
